Blah rain all day today.

But here were a couple of bright spots--- hubby did the vacuuming; and daughter I. took me to the opening concert in this year's Virginia Symphony Orchestra series (Brahms and Rachmaninoff).

Earlier this afternoon, I snapped a photo of these fiery bird chillies before blanching them with a savory vinegar-salt-pepper-sugar pickling solution. They are fire alarm h-o-t . Daughters J. and I. tried out one tiny one at dinner and had to down a milk chaser.
