First Wedding Anniversary

"The picture is worth a thousands words" but sometimes picture can not tell complete story :-). What a surprise it was.
I knew that there would be people wishing me at 12:00 mid night but.....

Got a call from Arif at 11:30 pm.....
Informed about Tawab's car problem in a way back from Ipoh and wanted me to join in order to help him....
Rather than details about car, he was telling other stories in a way....
Driving slowly....
Taking time to understand the directions of whereabouts of Tawab's car....
Finally, I called Tawab myself and asked where exactly he is????
He told to wait in front of McDonalds as he sorted out car's problem himself and coming in that side....
I told Arif that I havn't taken dinner yet so I might pack something from Mcdonalds.
Arif wanted me to wait till Tawab could reach us...
Then he changed the plan and gave the suggestion to wait inside McDonalds....
As soon as I enter, I saw everyone (including my wife and daughter) sitting in front of cake, clapping and wishing "happy wedding anniversary". I checked my mobile for time and it was 12:00 mid night.

Either I am quite innocent or they all were quite clever in the plan. The first option looks more probable to me
