Ireland vs Australia

Witnessed the best ever game of rugby tonight. I went to the Australia vs Ireland game in Eden Park today. It was amazing! In the second half people were expecting Australia to score tries and win, but they didn't! They didn't even get close to the try line till the end. They hardly had the ball close. The atmosphere was amazing, Everybody was backing the Irish and whenever they got a penalty the cheering and clapping was so loud! There were even loads of Kiwi's going for Ireland, because we all wanted them to win! There were actually more Irish supporters the Wallabies I think.

It was funny, every time Quade Cooper got the ball there were boos and shouts from the crowd, and then when the ball bounced off his chest when he tried to catch it there were cheers from the whole stadium! Ireland has such strong defence and good tackles! Their scrums are so strong! They managed to push the Australians back a few metres in one of them. I did wonder why they had Sexton doing the kicks, considering he is a little unreliable. Ireland would have been ahead more if they had gotten O'Gara on straight away instead of during the second half. But it didn't matter! They still beat the Wallabies!

I have been to my fair share of rugby games, and watched quite a bit, but this game was brilliant. Nobody expected the Irish to win at all! There were shouts of IRELAAAND throughout the whole game and loads of jumping up and down. I nearly shouted myself hoarse last night. Was so exciting!
