Morning shift today, the first one after a vacation of two weeks.
The major overhaul of unit EC 5 is in progress.
This is where the gasturbine rotor used to be.
It's common to cover everything that's open, so the bed where the rows with fixed blades normally are situated is covered with a big blue tarpaulin.
You can see the size of the machine when you compare it with the size of the two men in the back of the picture.
At the top left you can see the air intake, at the right of the picture is the exhaust..
The chainblock is in use to hoist small parts; for the rotor we have a bigger one... take a look at this one.
