A (not the) Scottish play

Went to see Mary Queen of Scots got her head chopped off.

These days I don't notice the east coast Scottish accent at all, but as this was performed in Scots I did miss some of the content. And there was some Scottish childhood cultural references that were over my head.

Overall I didn't really care for it to be honest, it felt a bit over the top and pretentious to me. Narrated by a crow - what?
