Nesting

After the excitement of the Out There festival in Yarmouth yesterday - including a ride on the wooden roller-coaster - today was much more low key, making sure himself has everything ready for his course and making sure I have all the instructions I need to make sure the house doesn't grind to a domestic halt. A main worry being my tendency to put the corpses of small creatures that the cats bring us into the wrong recycling bin - I think Rol fears that one day someone from the recycling dept will prosecute us or something. Like expose us in the local newspaper .....

He is cooking us a lovely roast for supper and we spent a jolly ten minutes shelling peas whilst singing along to Richard and Linda Thompson's version of I want to see the bright lights tonight which was being played on Jarvis Cocker's radio prog. I understand that he's going to do something clever with the pea pods .... make stock or something.
