Serene? Or a little bit spooky?

Tucked in between the roundabouts, dual carriageways and industrial units of Milton Keynes, there are quite a few green spaces and we found ourselves in one of them today.

This is the west end of the nave of the tree cathedral near Willen. It's a really lovely place, but one you would expect to be very quiet. The constant buzz of 60mph traffic not so far away actually makes it feel a little spooky, as if here life has to stop for a little while. A little overprocessing seems to add to the spookiness I think, and it was a nice oppotunity to play with the features of the PS app and the iPhone camera.

It's been a busy day today, and so it was nice to take half an hour to wander around here while the brown dog was looking for squirrels amongst the trees/walls of the cathedral. I heard this morning that the father of a very good friend of mine from school passed away on Friday. You never know what's around the corner, so you have to make the most of things, even just the odd quiet moment almost hidden from the traffic of a busy life.
