Through a glass ....
Slow day. Slow, slow day. #3 son is 24 today but I haven't seen much of him or F, who's only been back from her travels since Friday. He's preparing to go to Aberystwyth on Thursday. This seems to mean the mess from his bedroom has had to spill out into the hall and the kitchen. I guess it will get worse before it gets better. They were going out for a celebration meal then decided to eat in, but no offers of shared meals or a piece of chocolate birthday cake from either of them. I will miss him but it is time for him to go.
So today was a PC day. E-mailing A (wine, wine and more wine, I think), talking to E (news slightly better there), balancing the credit card statement, finding the insurance docs, claiming last week's expenses, treating the cat's sore eye (in 4 months she has lost 100g and still weighs over 6 kg, the diet will get more stringent from now on), and by 7.30 realising I still had to blip.
But what? - not the cat, not the birthday boy and not the bedroom. I tried the vase of flowers but pretty tame so this is a diptych (a Photoshop diptych no less) of the glass dream catchers in my window. It was to be a triptych but that is obviously a bridge too far for me at present. This has taken long enough and I have to cook and eat before the start of the last series of 'Spooks' in 25 minutes. So a diptych it is - and after yesterday's course with the 2 elements shot on M. I could be getting serious about this photography lark!
