Limekilns

Today we went here ... the limekilns at Charlestown.

It was an "Open Door" event. The Scottish Lime Centre was open to all and there were guided walks round the village and down to (and INTO) the limekilns.
This photo was taken after we had finished our guided walk and were having a walk round the harbour area.

Shortly after I took this the heavens opened and we got a bit soaked. I felt sorry for the second lot of "guided tourers" as they had just started their walk!
