Charlies's first birthday party!

Today was so great, we all had such a lovely time and little Charles seemed to enjoy himself too! We hired a bouncy castle and some large soft play shapes for the children. We played pass the parcel and had a pullini ( in case you dont know, it is a smaller children version of a pinata where instead of hitting it to get the goodies, there are lots of little strings hanging off which they all take turns to pull. The strings will all come off except one which is the one which opens the pullini and all the goodies fall out!) Luckily, it was the last one left which opened it, not one of the early ones!

The adults all had fun too as we had a bar. My bro Tom, was the bar man and he made the pimms extra strong so even some of the grown ups were on the castle by the end! The marquee was great and really made it special and of course we had lovely weather too.

All teh children were so well behaved and there was luckily no injuries!!!
