Giant Parasol

So far all my fungi shots have come from a wooded valley that marks the northern boundary of the common. Today I came out of the valley at an earlier point than usual and went up the slope of the north facing broad open grass firebreak. I wasn't expecting to find any fungi so was surprised to see this, one of three simialr sized specimens. If they aren't giant parasols I'll eat my .... umbrella.
