Holographic dove

Not much chance for a photo today. Time spent helping son number one do final bits of packing and then driving up to Sheffield.

Flat OK but dusty. Huge pile of mail (mainly junk) blocking the door. Quick trip to Tesco to buy the essentials - cheese, eggs, bread, washing powder and loo rolls - plus a few other bits. Helped him make up his bed, had a sandwich and then left him to unpack. His flat mate should be returning soon and term starts next week.

Braved the rain and queues of other Uni parents to get back on the motorway and down to my mum's for the evening. Managed a meal with sister, brother in law and mum in the evening. Good to see them again.

This is a small glass ornament with a dove hologram inside it. It sits on my mum's dressing table close to old school photos of me, my sister and our combined total of 4 boys.
