View From the Terrace
And a mighty fine view it is too. So much so we visited the terraces on both the 7th and 5th floors, though we only found the 7th and more impressive terrace by accident.
Up to go to the farmers' market as Jen has neve been and wanted to experience it first hand rather than just via me coming home with bags of delights. We must have been up and down 4 times before leaving with Oysters, Scallops, Buffalo and Venison.
On the way out we grabbed a Bloody Mary at Bar Kohl (very nice it was too, both port and sherry, always a good sign) followed a comparatively poor one at Revolution (which was rather strangely filled with families and children).
Then The National Museum across the road, which whilst not having Bloody Marys did two aforemetioned roof terraces and massive room full stuffed things. I was aware it had been recently 'done up' but we were both rather stunned at how much we enjoyed our brief (fresh meat in the bag remember) foray into its cavernous interior and will be paying it another visit at the first opportunity.
After I made a variety of meat based pie fillings Rock Band reared its ugly head and things got very messy.
