giver or taker ?

This mornings early start was to make possible the first batch of pigs to leave. Then some repairs and collecting equipment and trailers dotted about the farm post harvest. After lunch loaded some corn and went back ploughing, as I stated the other day it is a job I love. I did in the early days have a slight dilemma, each pass down the field turns over a 10 foot wide strip of land upto 12 inches plus deep. I must be making nummerous insects and small mammales homeless at best! I have balanced this with the fact that it also feeds nummerous birds, kestrels, wagtailes, starlings etc even if today all I could see were sea gulls!
