Well, I have to say that I have been unimpressed with my shots as of late. I am in a photo funk. Part of it is that my camera lens got a nice piece of dust in it that won't go away, so I sort of need a new camera, but don't really want to invest the money into it at the moment. That dust is so annoying though!
Anyway, here's a shot from campus. Western has a lot of outdoor sculpture which is pretty cool. For the first time today, campus was actually hopping! All the freshmen have arrived now. Walking through the info fair completely brought me back to when I was just arriving at college--the nerves, the excitement of being on your own. It was very strange...fun to relive it, but more like I was watching a scene out of a movie since I've already experienced my college glory days and now I'm at a university as a researcher/teacher/grad student. I have the benefit of having already been through all of that, and the confidence in figuring out my own way. It's a good place to be. I like my campus. It is a university much like any other, but I think I'll really like my fellow grads and the faculty. Parking? Not so much, but that's okay lol.
