Bridge over the Atlantic
Just the other side of Phuilladobhrain across the Sound of Clachan is the famous Bridge over the Atlantic
The bridge was built in 1792 to be able to hold a horse and cart loaded with hay, which was used to test it. Now 40t trucks and buses cross it, defining the term 'over-engineered' [Scottish Engineering eh!]
You can walk to the pub from the anchorage for a well earned beer
