Nihon kendo kata

Sunday started with 2 hour kata practice. Kon-sensei (Hanshi 8th Dan) was quite surprised at our skills after the first demonstrations so he changes the program asap to match our needs. The kata teaching was really top notch providing very detailed teachings as well as the historical view behind each kata.

After the kata practise we had a short 30min session for old koryu techique kiriotoshi. Then lunch break and afternoons jigeiko session before the closing seremony. We had still some strenght left, so we took part to one short training session at one local dojo with the senseis before heading back to Oulu.
