Quick trip to the west

Somehow, when you've been away for a special weekend, you want a soft re-entry to the world of work. Nothing could have been further from the truth. I was up reading job applications until beyond my usual bed time, consulted with a colleague with an interest in these applications overnight, and was shortlisting at 9am this morning. By 1015am I was on the train to Glasgow for a consultation with colleagues regarding other research activities, followed by lunch, and I'm now back home catching up on what I missed at the end of last week, and on Monday when we were travelling.
