Heaven's on Fire
Since before the dawn today, out in the wilds in the hills of Langol on the lookout for some wildlife photographs with Chaoba - for submission to the photo exhibition cum competition in connection with the 56th wildlife week celebration, 2011. In the evening the Sigma 150-500 finally arrived. Second trip to Changangei side for more birds on the wetlands area with him again. Got some blackbirds on the paddy fields.
However, as the sun's setting there's some rapid dramatic developments up in the sky all round. Pronto! Pronto! some are vanishing rapidly, some are taking shapes quickly and colours and lights all bundled up in one package and offered on all directions! Forget the birds, detach the telelphoto (leaving it on the tripod as you can see there), fix the wide angle and shoot in rapid succession revolving around the entire display up there like a panorama head!
Heavy work scheduled for tomorrow again in the wilds for more shots of mammals if luck favored.
