Early morning Walk for the Birds
Another early shot this morning as I was on my way to work. The sunrise was spectacular again and the early morning autumn light was rich and beautiful. I am very lucky to get to drive along the shore for a short distance on my way into Inverness every morning.
There were lots of birds paddling about at the high tide mark and they seemed to be enjoying this time of day as much as I was! Just as well I got this shot as I didn't get a lot of opportunity during the rest of the day. We went on a trip out with the class this afternoon and had an interesting time at North Kessock looking for plant and animal life at the shore and then walking round the lifeboat station and under the Kessock bridge. The children enjoyed looking up at the bridge high above their heads and listening to the cars and lorries whizzing over the top of them!
