Fluffy the Hummie

I was delighted to look out this morning and see several hummingbirds buzzing the feeders. They are very spooky, so getting close enough for any sort of decent shot was pretty much impossible. I actually took this through the window facing our deck. Although it has a bit of sharpness to it, I liked the way the little hummie was all fluffed up. This was my second favorite shot of the day, loved how her little head was slightly tilted as if she were testing the wind.

Drizzly weather here for the next few days, which isn't my favorite, but sometimes makes for interesting photos.

By the way, dad is doing very well and already walking several miles a day!
