Lady Sp33d finally got offered a part time job last week, after being made redundant 16 months ago on the day she was supposed to return from maternity leave. she's landed 3 half days a week in the pathology lab at the local hospital, and she's chuffed as billy-o.

but with it comes the worry, of leaving littleA in a nursery for two afternoons and hoping she'll be alright. so the three of us took a trundle up the lane to the one we'd earmarked 12 months ago (when the last job offer was on the cards, which never materialised) to introduce our precious little pudding to a bigger, wider world of new people, new sounds and new-to-her toys.

she had a great time, her shyness exchanged in a jiffy for playing and chatting and making new friends. and to cap it off they grow their own vegetables there, have all their meals cooked from scratch, have a big playing-out garden and they're surrounded by big farmers fields.

she's going to love it. we hope.
