It's fall, folks!

If anyone doubts the seasons are changing, I think this picture will help convince them. The photo, and the day, have a particularly fall-like feel.

A full day today with the funeral of a wonderful friend this morning, a very special lady who had the gift of being able to laugh at herself and treasure life...even through the hard times.

The funeral service was at our church, after which a lunch was served for the family and their friends. I stayed around to help with the clean up, and ended up washing piles of pots and pans...still wearing my dress up clothes, if you can imagine. Now it is time to close down the computer and go to bed. Goodnight all!
