Took the children out to feed the ducklings that were released onto the river this weekend. When we got there we noticed that this one had something stuck on it's beak and instead of quacking it was squeaking. Once Darren got home I asked him to come and try to help it. With the aid of another man who stopped them passing he managed to catch it and remove the rubber ring. Poor thing must have been so uncomfortable as it was holding down it's tongue not just on the beak. Lucky they had been reared at a local mans house else I think we would have had a real job catching it. As it was there was minimal fuss and no falling into the water from Darren as that would have been hilarious terrible.
