Day off

Hadn't set the alarm and slept as long as I pleased. Breakfast and a cuppa to open up the eyes. Compiled several pages of our photo book. Some self portaiture. Illmatic by Nas on loop the whole day on background. Stayed inside because it's been pissing down all afternoon. Had a good day off.

I liked this picture because of it's depth. The green of the trees created a satisfying backdrop. Too bad our windows aren't any larger than they are. Lit with a 100cm bounce umbrella, silverish material was used instead of white diffuse textile. The original shot's orientation is portrait. Here a square crop was applied because I don't like the way blipfoto.com handles pictures that are higher than they are wide.
