Texas Drought - Lake Conroe

Exceptional drought conditions.

The "lake" is bone dry all around the boat docks. It's unbelievable.

Made it to Houston this afternoon to celebrate my grandmother's 90th birthday in style at La Torretta Resort and Spa in Conroe. So happy to have a break from Fort Worth again. I feel trapped sometimes.. always holed up in my apartment studying.
