Multi-Function

This mortar and pestle is usually used for grinding chilies and garlic for Thai dishes or sauces. We found a new use for it though...grinding up mock Oreo cookies to make mock dirt.

The mock dirt will go into a birthday cake which is part of my scheming plan to expand my Thai friend's minds of what a cake can look like.

I'm trying to fill in some of the pictures I missed posting while I was in the States. So here's the Truckee River in Reno, Nevada.
