Tall trees
Earthdreamer came up with an interesting theory yesterday about the increasing speed of the passage of time. He gave out an invitation and I took him up on it today - I set off to Wincanton early, to make sure that I had time to stop on the way. This, taken near Alfred's Tower (part of the Stourhead Estate in Wiltshire) is the result.
The lady is not particularly tiny: the trees really are tall!
Additional information: the Stourhead gardens were laid out between 1741 and 1780, which could explain the height of the trees.
Trivia: a miniature replica of Stourhead House featured as Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward's residence in the Thunderbirds television series.
