Waiting for our transfer

Just arrived at Dalaman airport en-route to Gocek and we were patiently waiting for the mini bus to transport us to Romy, our catamaran for the week.

It was hot! We were waiting for other Club La Costa members from flights arriving in Dalaman from airports around the UK. You can always tell the new arrivals from their pasty complexions and stressed out demeanour. Thankfully the worries slip away when you get on board the boat. It can take days to chill out on most holidays - you can do it within hours on the yacht.

I got restless waiting so started playing with the camera and shot off a few frames. I'm only allowed one shot here so this one shows Amanda looking a little reflective...probably just dreaming about the first cocktail on board.

After offloading our stuff onto the boat we took a walk along the harbour and shared a bottle of Rose in a bar overlooking the sea. Don't imagine it was all wine and sailing... I did go for a run later that evening in 30 degrees. A little warm even at 7.00pm.
