No Seizure, so Seizing the Moment

As it's the second day of the Take Epilepsy Action campaign, here's another epilepsy themed picture:

No seizures today - so Em and Richard get the chance to get together.

Although they talk on the phone a lot, this is only the second time Richard and Em have been able to meet face to face since they spent week after autumn week in the specialist neurological assessment centre in Chalfont last year. They were very much the youngest residents.

They live a long way apart, and neither can travel unaccompanied. But today Richard had a London hospital appointment so we travelled up together to meet him and his mother.

Emma is nearly 19. Richard is over 20. Imagine being that age and living under such restrictions..

Epilepsy is cruel
