365 Grateful Project_Day 42

I really made sure to bring something from Batanes to the office to remind me that I have to return and I have finally found the best place to disconnect from the world.

This hand woven basket is a small version of their "batulang," a bin on which the strap is meant to be wrapped around their heads for carrying. I asked a local to have me tried it on with an almost 5kg baggage. And truly, it takes your head some getting used to.

And I am starting to miss the place again. :(
