Annie dyes her hair. We all get cancer.
Despite all the studying we should have been doing, Annie, Jess, Ryan, and I embarked on an adventure to CVS to find hair dye for Annie, who had decided she wanted to dye her hair again. At CVS, she decided on "ash blonde," knowing that it wouldn't drastically alter her dark hair, which had previously been dyed with a reddish hue.
To be honest, I did actually consider changing my own hair color while we were browsing the color options, until I realized how the OCD half of me and the lazy half of me would be doing battle over my dark roots growing back in--and I have enough things to deal with without creating more issues for myself.
Having no idea what the process was like for at-home hair dye jobs, I watched and took pictures as Jess applied the white paste-like dye to Annie's hair. Immediately, there was a terrible chemical smell that screamed "CARCINOGENIC" and failed to be dissipated even after we were done.
But in the end, Annie's hair is gorgeous!
