Let's Twist Again

Today is the 11th anniversary of my mum's death. This is a photograph of her that I love. I keep it on my fridge and must look at it so many times every day. It always makes me smile. For the last 10 years of mum's life she was battling leukaemia and it was pretty rough. She was only 60 years old when she died. But, that smile was always there (for us anyway!).

This photo was taken at a dinner dance (remember those) and mum made the dress! She loved dancing.

I still miss her a lot; we would chat most days. I have loads of great memories and I have lots of great stories to tell my kids about their grandmother!
