Proper music you can touch...
I've put all my records in these plastic boxes and all my CDs in 3 cardboard boxes. There's still a whole shelf of records that haven't been boxed. Over 25 years of buying and collecting music here.
My first-
7inch was Boney M - 'Brown Girl' in the Ring.
12inch was Blancmange -'Don't Tell Me'
Vinyl Album - Mozart Requiem
Cassette Album - Now 1
CD - Jean Micheal Jarre 'Rendezvous'
Download - Dandy Worhols 'Bohemien Like You'
I remember driving miles to go to a cool record shop that sold special edition 12 inch records, ones you couldn't get from Woolworths or Martins. I remember when a CD purchase was carefully researched and its cost was quite a bit of cash to spend and I remember the days when new music was played to death when it was purchased. I must have spend thousands on music...
The amazing thing is that all of this and more fits into my iPod which fits in my pocket and you can probably get everything I have in this picture free somewhere on the internet.
