Bathtime whites
Just look at those whites! And that's with a non-bio detergent - none of that Omo or Daz or Ariel (other washing powders are available).
But it's not the wash I'm looking at - it's the fact that I've finally managed to shift a tiny piece of dust that was on my sensor which had been evading eviction for some time and was marring every frame I took.
In the movie world of course, they'd call that a 'hair in the gate'. Something the First Assistant Cameraman would have to check for when loading and unloading each film cassette. Just occasionally I still see one appear on tv when they show some old newsreel or vintage footage.
Another thing that often marred film, both movie and stills was something that looked like a lightning strike branching along the edge of the film. This was actually sparking caused by static inside the camera which fogged the undeveloped film with lightning!
I won't list all the faults I know about here, as that would be boring, but point out that I know it's less than a week since I last featured Emma, but here she is again.
