Home-made ratatouille

It was an ambition this year to 'grow' my own ratatouille. I bought two small aubergine plants from my neighbour's stall at the village plant sale back in May and they've been rather slow to get into gear but the fruits are growing well now.

I have plenty of tomatoes and some peppers growing well, onions have been harvested and are drying. The missing ingredient is courgettes which cropped early so I'll have to buy some. Still it's been interesting and it's been a good experience and hopefully I'll get it right next year.
