FOCUS

Went to see Focus tonight supported by The Crazy World of Arthur Brown as part of the St Ives September Festival.

Both were incredible, arthur Brown has an amazing voice & a synth player who was out of this world & she looked like she was in the 60's.

Focus were all you would imagine from a 70's prog Rock band, in fact it was like being back there again; long instrumentals but they were all incredible musicians, some of the best I've ever seen. The guitar player especially was something else, as was Thijs van Leer who looked like he would be more at home on a Dutch barge, but sounded superb singing (?) & on the flute & organ.

Another good night, Hocus Pocus still in my head (you can ff to 2:35 however to experience tonight try the whole thing but imagine WAY better guitar work) - apologies for the picture quality but the best I could do from there
