Twickers

Our local sports stadium.

Twickenham is the headquarters of the English RFU. All pretty quiet at the moment whilst players and dignitaries are on a jolly down under for the World Cup.

This South Stand has been extensively redeveloped over the last few years, but this is the closest I've ever got to going inside. The statue in front is a bronze depicting England winning a line out against the All Blacks. Let's hope, that if the opportunity arises, the boys will remember this and win some!

It's come a long way since the original "Cabbage Patch".
