a wee bit in my shoes...

More than china...

Tonight I was washing some of my wee treasures...my china. What I love most about these pieces is that they have all came from charity shops or given to me, therefore they all have a history. I often wonder what type of lady owned the cup and what stories were shared when ladies came together for tea..
On Saturday my church is having a vintage breakfast for ladies. Some are bringing down their tea sets and all will be shared among the women who attend. This is more than a breakfast to me though. I love women coming together and there is a sense of community to it. That's where my heart lies. All women have a story to tell, some of sadness and some of happy times but no matter what, each woman has a story in progress and all can help each other. That's what I hope Saturday brings..in-between jaws munching on a wee scone, there will be chit chat and sharing between everyone... Here's to china chat and community...let's hear it for the girls :)
