Eeeeewwwww.......

......not the best of shots, my hands were shaking too much. Had to do it though 'cos it was such a whopper, that's a decent-sized bee corpse she's clasping to her bosom! Think its a lady common garden spider (Araneus diadematus) but I didn't hang around to check her credentials........

And there was more death and destruction down at the bottom of the garden, a sad little pile of hedgehog remains, looks like Mr Fox came a-calling last night.....

Bit of a depressing morning so far.........
