Ile Maurice - beached

"The sea-plane now landed at runway beach is .........."

This wee two-seater sea-plane popped out of the sky, landed on the water and parked itself on the beach right in front of us. It looked like a lawn mower engine would produce more power than the tiny engine mounted on the front of the plane. Only a perspex front window too! A really unusual heath-robinson looking plane. The pilot was offering short flights. A few brave souls took him up on the offer. It certainly drew a crowd though (that is a crowd for this beach as it is really beautifully quiet).
