Diamonds in the rough

Today is just a dreary, rainy day...and from the looks of it, we are going to be looking at rain pretty much for the next week!

Not what I was hoping for on the first day of Fall (Autumn). I prefer the crisp, cool dry air with bright blue skies!!

I managed to catch a few minutes where it stopped raining, just long enough for me to run out and see what I can find to blip. Not many choices, I'm afraid. So you get to see the raindrops in the grass...they caught my eye as they sparkled like little diamonds amoungst the green.

I didn't have much time...Jack had a half day today, shorter than his usual half day Kindergarten class. It seemed I just managed to dry off from getting him on the bus and I was right back out the door to take him back off!
