Maggie the incredible wasp killer.

My little doggie, never ceases to amaze me with her multi-tasking skills. She has been extremely vexed with the wasps in the garden, who have been feasting on the windfall apples. The trouble is that the apples are fermenting, and the cider mush swilling wasps have become drunk and very noisy. Their loud buzzings have incensed her, and she is determined to see them off. I don't know which is crazier, the dog or the wasps. My mate Kevin used to use the expression, "As mad as a wasp." They certainly have been, and I don't think that Maggie has escaped completely from their wrath, and she keeps giving a little whimper. I've had a great birthday, and after I have picked up Mrs.G from the Bingo, I shall be getting on the outside of a very large glass of Jura, a fine single malt.A present from number four son David. A very thoughtful and kind son. The whiskey of course, is far, far too good for me, but hell, somebody's got to sup it.
