Thinks that make you go....Wow!

So, on with the theme from the other day of interesting buildings around Glasgow. This one is just behind my office and it another of my favourites.

What I especially like if just how life like the crouching figures are. This image does not do them justice but the details of the figures is astounding. The boots on the male figure look like they are folding under their own weight, and the woman's dress looks like it is pulled taught, but will be freed as soon as she moves.

As I am a bit of a science fantasy fan, when I look at this building all I can see are swords, sorcery and a party on an adventure.

It is not something that you would expect to see in the middle of town and, even though I know it is there, the building always takes my breath away. If you get a chance head to St Vincent Street and have a look.
