Mop top on a strip light

Did take a camera with me to work today.

I've recently moved to a different place of work for part of the week. In contrast to where I usually work (very small with quite a closeknit team) this place is a monolith of Gormenghast-like proportions. The corridors extend for miles and miles and walking them I sometimes wouldn't be totally suprised to emerge into a different time or alternate reality.

Anyway this didn't stop me wondering how and why this mop had got on top of the light in one of the many quite similar-looking stairwells.
