Mystery of the universe!!

I should add Mystery of the Universe Part 1.

Today I helped with the laundry. Well I baahly did a thing really!! I did notice though that while the socks went into the washing machine two by two, they went into the sock draw in pairs after they were dry. Those pairs though, were not always a matching pair!!

Where do all the odd socks go when they are washed? If ewe know the answer please let me know.
