30 Days of Holga (Day 4): Visiting Jonathan

I was talking to my dad the day before, and he said that he was cooking dinner for my visiting aunt. She lost her son to a rare form of cancer about a year ago and visits frequently as this is where he was buried. I decided to hop on a flight back to San Francisco to be with the family -- and dad had offered a home cooked meal.

Two of my aunts, my uncle, and I went to the cemetery where my cousin was laid to rest. The view here faces the Rancho San Antonio county park where I grew up running cross-country in high school, and learning about farming with hikes and overnight trips as a child at nearby Deer Hollow Farm.
