My lovely old clock.

This clock has an interesting history.

When I bought my home about 40 years ago this clock was left by the estate of the lady who had lived here in the house.

My father who was a keen collector of clocks, took the clock to my old family home where it remained until his death about 20 years ago. He loved the clock and it held pride of place in my parent's beautiful home.

The clock returned to its original home - my house - after my parents died. It has been with me for about 20 years.

My husband (my Mr. Leo) keeps it going accurately and although it needs to be regularly wound, I try to keep it going. I love to hear it strike the time.

I have no idea of its history prior to 40 years ago.
