Earlier in the week my Dad and I had been talking about the new fishing water that he had joined. He mentions that he wished I was off on Friday, and expecting that he was about to offer me a free days fishing, I brought up the fact I was on holiday. After checking to make sure I wasnt taking the piss, he says 'Great, im getting 3 tonnes of garden chips delivered and I need to get them shifted into the garden, you fancy giving me a hand?'

I'm going to have to remember to keep my mouth shut in future. It only took about 3 hours though, and I was rewarded with a subway sandwich for my efforts. I would have preferred the £10 an hour my mum was going to offer a Polish worker but hey!
