Memory seat

A very fitting and witty memorial to Cressida Lindsay - writer, crossword lover and regular at Take5 who died in November 2010.

Nic, co-owner of Take5, had this plaque made and fixed to a chair which is now placed in the corner of Take5 where Cressida would sit and do the crossword.

Her funeral was a wonderful occasion, which included everyone singing along to Bob Marley at one point.

Rol and I went to Take5 for lunch today to celebrate him completing the first week of his course without too much trauma. He meets his teaching mentor this coming week and will soon start observation, then actual teaching.

Meanwhile, my ukelele playing is coming along nicely.
